I mentioned my trip already, so I thought I'd post pics.

BTW, Beirut is amazing; it's a brilliant blend of the best of France meets the best of Arabia. It's no wonder they call it the Paris of the Middle East. If you can, you must go!

Super Soaked.

The inevitable happened; I was standing on the sidewalk after having a delicious lunch with Sarah at the Grey Dog, in my cute new J Crew dress and I got super soaked. A huge black SUV plowed past and drenched me. I was punished for my affinity with thick black eyeliner by discovering my incredible panda eyes when I returned home.

Lesson learned: when raining in NYC, if huge SUV is about to drive past, stand back from the curb.

So I recently returned to Charleston, SC (my home for 5 years) from a fabulous trip to England, Cyprus and Beirut feeling quite discontent. So what does a girl do in a situation like this? Pack up her life and move to NYC! Duh!

Long-story-short: I am in NYC. Loving life again! And here to detail all the happening involved in this transition!
